It helps to have read the Bible, have studied Latin, and have a keen knowledge of Art, Opera and Literature while reading Proust. It also helps to be sitting in front of your computer with access to Yahoo search, Latin translations, and an online dictionary. I'll be starting Sodom and Gomorrah tomorrow.
